Art & Craft Fair at the Sheraton, in BTV

Just after the November Residency, I set up at an Art & Craft show at the Sheraton in Burlington Vermont.

( Unfortunately, it was not the right place to sell large, abstract paintings! 🙁   Even after an attempt to get people to rethink large paintings….

Seb Sweatman at the Vermont Contemporary Art Space Summer show

A quick walk-through of Seb Sweatman’s 11 pieces currently up at the Vermont Contemporary Art Space Summer show. The show is open until October 16, 2016. Come visit!

Going counter clockwise (to the right) as you come down the three stairs into the finished gallary space, are Seb’s two larger paintings. “Love is Red”, is on the right, and “One way to hell” is on the left.

Then, facing the two paintings above is “Yellow Door”, painted in 2014.

On the other side of “Yellow Door” is “Composition 6”, also called “Spark, series 2” and “a Still life”, painted in 2015. To the right is “Zebra head”, in steel by Alexandra Heller.

Then, behind you are “Purple Mountain Line” and “City Lights”, both painted this year. In between the paintings is “Conch woman”, in steel by Alexandra Heller.

Next to City Lights is “While Red and Blue slept, Orange crept in”.

And next to this painting is “Matisse lilly pond” and “Composition 9”, both also painted this year.
